The University of Twente (UT) has started a five-year research program on people-centered robotics that crosses the boundaries of the University's faculties and research institutes. The program aims to further strengthen the position and visibility of the Twente region as an influential and active player for robotics research, development, testing and implementation. Two of the core research areas in the Twente Robotics program are tele-robotics and wearable robotics; important application domains are healthcare and maintenance & inspection.
We are looking for two post-doctoral researchers to initiate and carry out research that connects the various robotics departments involved in Twente Robotics. Do you want to contribute to running projects, but also gain experience in acquiring funds and initiating new projects to make scientific and societal impact in the area of robotics? As a post-doctoral researcher at Twente Robotics
You will be embedded in the department of Biomechanical Engineering, Faculty of Engineering Technology (www.utwente.nl/en/et/be) or in the department of Robotics and Mechatronics, Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Mathematics and Computer Science (www.ram.ewi.utwente.nl). However, your primary focus will be cross-departmental while operating in the fields of wearable robotics, tele-robotics or medical robotics.
