This individual is responsible for the development of an S&OP process working with sales, supply chain, finance and portfolio management to achieve sales AOP and accurate forecasting. This will include regular S&OP analysis, reporting and identifying opportunities for process improvement.

In addition, the role will support the commercial team with reporting and analytics related to sales process, Salesforce.com, sales pipeline and territory management. Other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

Sales Enablement

  • Sales Analytics
    • Liaise between Sales and the central team for Sales Analytics providing business analysis to Sales in support of analytics requests
    • Proactive development of Sales Analytics in SFDC to support business projects and strategic priorities
  • Territory Management
    • Work with Sales Leadership in the development of future state territory models.
    • Proactively monitor existing territories to identify discrepancies, outliers, and improvements.
    • Build an accurate automated customer model linked to corporate data sources.
  • Contact/account Management
    • Support and deliver relevant projects:
    • Work with Marketing on a contact enrichment project that will align systems and ensure Sales understand marketing interactions with their contacts
    • Improve contact management within Sales (archiving processes, de-duplication, Sales contact validation and contact database cleaning processes)
    • Manage GDPR process and governance

S&OP Planning

  • Support demand forecasting process, incorporating sizeable business intelligence and forecast information from Commercial & PM team
  • Ensure data generated by commercial finance is suitable for S&OP process (content, time horizon). Initiate improvement actions when required
  • Collaborate with the Sales/PM leaders to ensure the demand consensus process delivers an agreed upon, workable volume forecast for Supply chain
  • Continuously review the S&OP process to ensure it suits business needs

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • Degree or equivalent experience in a related field (Commercial, Supply Chain)
  • 3years+ of experience in a commercial environment
  • Knowledge of modern cloud and SAAS solutions especially, but not limited to, Salesforce.com
  • Expert Microsoft Office skills, Query Languages (SQL, M) and extremely proficient with Excel
  • Proficiency with business intelligence and visualization tools such as Cognos, PowerBI, Tableau and Microsoft Visual Studio
  • Understanding of Sales processes, Sales reporting needs, and Sales Analytics
  • Commercial orientation with track record for producing high quality, timely deliverables
  • Self-directed, detail-oriented, nimble problem solver who uses technical data analytics skills to create business value
  • Able to validate and synthesize data from a variety of sources
  • Excellent organizational, team work and time management skills.
  • Work effectively with multiple stakeholders within a matrix environment, to manage both competing requirements and concurrent project activity.
