Work Objectives: The general objective of this research is to support the collection and annotation of cardiac signals, namely heart sounds, in real clinical and field environments, for the purposes of research and medical education.

Place of work: The work will be developed at the Instituto de Telecomunicações based at the Department of Computer Science, Faculty of Sciences, University of Porto, under the supervision of Professor Miguel Tavares Coimbra.
Duration: 3 months, with the possibility of renewal. Start date: 16 February 2019 (or soon thereafter).
Monthly Maintenance Allowance: 980? (net), according to the table of grant amounts awarded directly by FCT for positions held in Portugal (www.fct.pt/apoios/bolsas/valores). The payment will be made by bank transfer.
An interview might be requested if considered relevant by the selection jury. In this case, will be made individual interviews with the three best applicants, as well as for foreign applicants and will be included in criteria 2.
