We are now looking for a Data Engineer (3-5 years) willing to accept new challenges in our Closer team.


Main Tasks & Responsibilities:


  • As a proactive member of the support team maintain the stability of the production environment, effectively managing incidents, problems and changes;
  • Promptly identify and resolve incidents and issues by applying exceptional problem-solving skills ensuring minimal disruption to operations;
  • Continuously enhance existing processes and workflows to optimize efficiency and productivity;
  • Work seamlessly within the agile environment, contributing to product and solution delivery for our esteemed business users. Actively participate in sprints and contribute to CI/CD practices;
  • Effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders and end users and foster collaboration;
  • Uphold knowledge management practices to facilitate knowledge capture and sharing.

Main Technical Requirements:


  • 3-5 years of hands-on experience in production support, with a proven track record of success in managing complex environments;
  • ITIL certification;
  • Technical background with a deep understanding of ETL/ELT processes for data transformation;
  • Proficiency in using PySpark for distributed data processing and analysis;
  • Advanced knowledge in SQL for proficient querying and manipulation of data;
  • Fundamental proficiency in Python debugging of data transformation issues and script automation;
  • Comprehensive understanding of REST API;
  • Fluency in English;
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive attitude towards incident resolution and issue identification.

  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, enabling effective collaboration and conveyance of ideas and solutions;
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technical discipline, providing a solid foundation for understanding complex technical concepts;

Nice to have:


  • Familiarity with the financial markets, related data and applications, providing a contextual understanding of the industry;
  • Hands-on experience managing big data platforms like Databricks, Azure Synapse, and Azure Data Factory;
  • Experience in managing BI Platforms like MicroStrategy, PowerBI, QlikView, and Tableau;
  • Strong background in working with agile environments, participating in sprints and adhering to CI/CD practices;
  • Certification in Azure Fundamentals, Azure Administrator, Azure DevOps, showcasing proficiency in Cloud technologies.
