EY is looking for a Physical Security Specialist to join the Risk Management Team and work with the regional security team. EY Security promotes a safe and secure working environment for EY colleagues and at EY?s offices.


The Physical Security Specialist will play a key role in driving the local implementation of Global Security policies and guidance and will implement and mature key elements of core Global Security disciplines consistent with local threats and risks.


This person will work closely with in country stakeholders, country leadership and country risk Management. The person will also report to and coordinate with Europe West (?EW?) regional security and subject matter experts on security, crisis management and risk issues.


Key responsibilities

  • Understand, and assist in the implementation of EY?s Global Security Policy under EW security directions;
  • Implement existing security policy, plans and projects and continuously improve the state of security in close collaboration with various country stakeholders;
  • Conduct Security Risk Assessments;
  • Implement the requirements in the Global Security Policy based on risk, regulatory and market requirements;
  • Implement, document, and optimize technical and non-technical measurements and controls;
  • Create awareness and ensure implementation of notification and escalation procedures and tools;
  • Ensure confirmation of crisis management and business continuity plans in place, meeting EY?s recovery requirements;
  • Support EW in conducting annual training and exercise to prepare the Crisis Management and Business Continuity team(s) to manage crisis and recover effectively;
  • Conduct assessments and support the Meeting and Event security program;
  • Report security status and security incidents to country management and Europe West security
  • Participation in compliance process and general assurance provisioning as related to the Physical Security Program;
  • Reporting on progress of the Physical Security Program.

To qualify for the role, the candidate must have

  • Bachelor degree in relevant areas;
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in physical security and dynamic security environment;
  • Experience in international environment (preferred);
  • A recognized security/physical security qualification is preferred, but not mandatory.
