The position

We are currently looking for a Finance analyst for our Operations Finance team.

Reporting to the Head of Finance Business Partnering (Operations), the candidate will be working together with 6 plant finance business partners, supply chain organization etc on analyzing and interpreting complex data sets.

This role is well suited for candidates with a background in a matrix organization. The ideal candidate will be able to work in an autonomous matter and leverage their excellent analytical skills to put together insight to other stakeholders.

Primary responsibilities

The statistical analyst is responsible for the organization, analysis, and reporting of data collected from various sources, utilizing various visualization and business intelligence tools to provide a clear understanding and communication of data to aid organizations in making sound decisions.

Primary activities

  • Analyzes past and current financial performance data
  • Identify trends and patterns in data
  • Prepares reports and projections based on analyses. Compare financial performance to forecasts
  • Perform costs analyses
  • Building models and conduct ?what if? scenario analyses to identify alternative strategies to improve company performance
  • Use financial models for predictive insights
  • Explore the impacts of business decisions

Professional qualifications

  • Education: Applicants are required to have a BS/BA degree in Data/Business Analytics, Operations Research, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Business Analytics, or in a related quantitative field of study.
  • Highly proficient in the use of the Microsoft office tools, notably Excel with the ability to write macros, PowerPoint, Power BI and affinity for analytic tools
  • Experience with statistical analysis and financial forecasting
  • Strong quantitative abilities
  • Ability to solve complex problems
  • Attention to detail and the ability to identify data patterns
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Fluent in spoken and written English
