In the People & Culture team, we are looking for a (Senior) Compensation Manager based in Lisbon, Portugal.

Your role:

Your mission is to contribute to the creation and execution of our global compensation strategy:

  • Partner with the different regions and functions to implement and execute the Company?s compensation strategy
  • Participate in remuneration surveys (Mercer) and conduct benchmark analysis to inform and support our global compensation strategy
  • Drive innovative projects to further develop our compensation practices
  • Perform job evaluation, update the Job Level Framework and salary range framework in multiple countries across the Company (US, Australia, Portugal, Germany and Netherlands)
  • Implement an annual performance and salary review process, supporting the assessment with salary recommendations across all levels
  • Manage and further develop our short and long-term equity incentive programs - Share Options Plan & Restricted Stock Units
  • Contribute to employees? understanding of our compensation strategy by developing communication tools and leading trainings on new and existing compensation programs
  • Contribute to compensation presentations made to the Supervisory Board
  • Serve as a subject matter expert for our People & Culture (HR) team for global total compensation and benefits queries
  • To support you in these initiatives, you will directly manage a People & Compensation analyst who closely collaborates with our People & Culture team to improve data accuracy and analytics

Requirements

  • You enjoy managing topics in a complex and challenging environment. You are highly analytical, structured and organized, with an attention to detail. You take ambiguity and transformational change in stride and provide your stakeholders with great support and service.
  • You are able to prioritize initiatives to meet your stakeholder?s needs. You enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment with a fast pace and are looking for an opportunity to make an impact on a growing company. Previous experience working in a ?start-up? environment is a plus.
  • You possess a university degree in a field related to business administration, finance or human resources
  • You have 3-5 years of professional experience in Compensation and Benefits positions, with subject matter expert understanding of HR related processes as well as experience working in an international or multicultural environment
  • You are knowledgeable about a range of incentive based employee share plans and equity reward instruments, including stock options, performance rights and restricted stock unit grants, and the related range of associated performance measurements.
  • Strong knowledge of international payroll and tax topics in Germany
  • Strong project management and organizational skills
  • Excellent English and German language skills both spoken and written.
  • Ability to work under pressure, high professional maturity, mental flexibility, and an affinity for working in a fast-paced environment
  • Strategic thinking as well as cross-cultural collaboration are amongst your strengths
  • Superior Excel skills & a hands-on, roll up your sleeves up mentality. Advanced Google Sheets knowledge is a plus
  • Experience working with Mercer IPE methodology is a plus
  • Having team management experience is an advantage.
