Ferring is opening an IT Center of Excellence (CoE) in Lisbon, Portugal, to build and operate a new global ERP platform and we are looking to attract qualified and motivated candidates. To enable Ferring to keep up with new demands, changes and business needs, we are now recruiting a professional team that will implement the new ERP in countries throughout the world as well as its central and support functions. The ERP program is expected to run for at least four years and the scope of the new team?s work will include global implementation, as well as on-going operation and maintenance. In addition, the IT CoE in Lisbon will be an integral part of Ferring?s Global IT Function.

Your new role

The primary role of the FI Analyst is to support the Application Specialist on the SAP S/4 deployments, ensuring the delivery of high-quality process and technical solutions together with proper documentation, validation and testing, data preparation and change request implementation. As part of the SAP Support team, the FI Analyst will perform application support activities such as investigation and resolving incidents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Support all phases of the project lifecycle including analysis, design, development, testing and deployment of solutions as well as documentation and end-user training.
• Understand business processes and design of appropriate SAP solutions
• Support preparation of design workshops and follow up activities
• Support the system configuration on the Finance processes and perform unit tests
• Create functional design specifications (FDS) and support developers on the creation of the technical design specifications (TDS)
• Provide support to global data cleansing, migration and business role definition when required
• Support E2E Testing activities (scoping, testing documentation, data and other prerequisites) and resolution of testing defects
• Support technically the day to day activities in SAP, support end users and respond to system/process problems.

Required Education/Qualifications/Skills:

• 5+ years of relevant experience in the SAP Finance module
• Hands on experience in the key SAP S/4 functionalities such GL, AR, AP, AA, Banks
• Good understanding of the integration between the FI, CO and logistics modules of SAP
• Experience in SAP global projects with multinational team is a plus
• Strong analytical & problem solving skills
• Ability to work with non-technical end users in both a design and support role
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Good communication skills (written and spoken) in English
