• College degree in information technology or related field
• Extensive experience with data platforms and services, APIs, and security controls, as well as expertise in leading IT standards such as SAP, Salesforce, or SnapLogic
• In-depth knowledge of various aspects of data science and machine learning solutions and a deep understanding of their capabilities and limitations
• Knowledge of cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, GCP and experience onboarding business layers on top of base platform components
• Combining non-functional requirements (availability, flexibility, stability, maintainability, and security) with an understanding of business requirements
• Understanding the code-level impact of architectural decisions
• Expertise in security, networking, virtualization, load balancers, storage, and database
• Strong customer focus and excellent communication skills and the ability to easily navigate a global and multicultural environment
• Excellent writing and communication skills in English, knowledge of German or knowledge of another language is an advantage
• Exceptional leadership and coaching skills to collaborate and develop technical talent in multicultural, global teams
• Open-minded and willing to learn and continuously improve own skills as well as enthusiasm for data and analytics and leveraging data across all aspects of a business and ecosystem

• Formulation of an architectural vision (processes, data and applications) as well as enforcement of an appropriate enterprise integration and linkage of different applications within the enterprise
• Defining architectural models and components and specifying interfaces with a focus on entire domains/cross-cutting areas
• Seek new ways to further improve application architecture programs and processes, as well as shape enterprise-wide policies, standards, and guiding principles and become a trusted advisor to the business
• Laying the foundation for modern solutions for challenging projects and securing buy-in from key stakeholders by documenting and presenting methodologies, processes, and project deliverables to those stakeholders
• Lead a team in our innovative technology projects with the right methodologies, optimal data structures, data processing pipelines and data management strategies
• Develop and monitor KPIs / metrics to optimize data quality
• Knowledge of technologies and latest trends in the field of data quality
• Support team members to help them reach their full potential
• Participate in an inspiring team of true thought leaders and data science experts within the global ED&AA team
