POSITION SUMMARY:
Broadvoice is looking for an experienced Senior Financial Analyst to join our growing team. In this dynamic role, you?ll act as the analytical engine of the company to provide insights and support of Broadvoice?s decision making. You?ll be a key member of the Finance organization, assuming responsibility for a wide range of planning, forecasting, reporting and business intelligence activities and work with functional leaders across Sales, Operations, Development & Engineering to help optimize their key strategic operating metrics. YOUR DAY-TO-DAY:
- Provide financial consulting and strategic support to management including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, industry/peer group comparisons, new business opportunity analysis, and other projects requested by senior management
- Facilitate and manage the annual budget and forecast processes
- Serve as a finance partner to departmental budget owners and ensure managers are aware of their financial performance compared to plan
- Analyze current and past trends of key performance indicators, including all areas of revenue, cost of sales, expenses and capital expenditures
- Monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance
- Oversee and manage the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan and modeling tools
- Present the monthly and quarterly financial reports of various units.
- Develop financial models and analyze them to support strategic initiatives.
- Support senior management team and departments head with in-depth analysis.
- Prepare presentations to the Executive and Leadership team.
- Work closely with the accounting team to support the month end close process.
- Other duties as assigned.
WHAT YOU BRING TO THE TEAM:
- A Bachelor?s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
- A minimum of 4-5 years of progressive financial experience.
- Advanced skills and experience using MS Office suite (especially MS Excel).
- Financial modeling experience.
- Knowledge of US GAAP and cost accounting principles.
- Experience with Salesforce/similar CRM marketing systems.
- Proven experience in eliciting requirements and analyzing data to draw business-relevant conclusions.
- A strong detail-orientation and high standard of quality and accuracy.
- Self-motivation, flexibility, and an ability to manage multiple and often changing priorities.
- A results orientation, intellectual curiosity, problem-solving skills, and a sense of urgency.
- Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills
- Fluency in English (mandatory).
