Join our central PowerBI development team! This role will extend into the full enterprise reporting suite.
Job Description
Build & Deliver PowerBI Dashboards: Based on prioritized team requirements, design, build and test real-time analytics dashboards. Build/deliver training to end users. Deliver weekly/monthly dashboards for ongoing execution as well as quarterly business reviews.
Manage Analytics/Reporting Roadmap & Plan: With Sales, Marketing, PS, HR, Finance and IT, develop, and manage roadmaps for new dashboards, insights capabilities, and team training/adoption plans for various dashboards/reports.
Gather Stakeholder Requirements: Gather requirements across a diverse end user audience (executive leadership, team managers, campaign managers, web/digital team, events team, field marketing, etc.) to define key strategic/business questions to answer with data, insights needed, user experience needs, and preferred dashboard visualization views.
Actionable Insights Thought Leadership: Based on dashboards/reports, monitor and assess dashboards/data to provide thought leadership, actionable insights and strategy/execution recommendations to key stakeholders.
Qualifications
2+ years of experience in data driven analytics, dashboard and reporting development with successful track record delivering dashboards/reporting, weekly/monthly reporting, and executive leadership reporting through agile methodology.
STEM Degree and/or Technical Background
PowerBI, DAX & Power Query: Experience working with PowerBI Desktop, DAX and Power Query (M-Code) for ETL, to integrate data and to produce visually pleasing reports & dashboards.
Ability to work with various data sources including Power BI Dataflows, SQL Server, Azure, APIs, Live Power BI datasets, DirectQuery. Knowledge of composite Power BI models
Ability to use of the full formatting capabilities of PBI Desktop, including Bookmarks and Drillthrough functionality
Power BI Service: knowledge of best practices around report delivery (i.e. publishing reports and bundling them in Power BI Apps), access management, scheduled refreshing, and Power BI Row-Level Security. Ability to build & use Power BI Dataflows
Advanced Excel proficiency and with the rest of the Microsoft Suite (Microsoft Word, Powerpoint)
End User Needs: Proven experience documenting, challenging and executing business requirements. Ability to support users in adopting and engaging with the reports, including preparing, presenting and conducting demo sessions to end users
Communications: Excellent communication skills - ability to make complex analytics understandable to broader teams and to evangelize the utilization of analytics to accelerate business goals
Strong collaboration skills and clear communication style with the ability to influence, inspire and align multiple stakeholders and work effectively across teams.
Attention to Detail: Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management skills, able to work well under deadlines in a changing environment and perform multiple tasks effectively and concurrently.
Desirable
Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, HR, Finance, PS and IT teams, working directly with key stakeholders to produce management reporting
Experience with Dynamics 365: Hands-on knowledge and experience working with data integration and end-to-end marketing/sales workflows for CRM systems (e.g. Dynamics 365, Salesforce, CRM in-app reporting) a plus.
Experience with T-SQL, SQL, Data Warehousing
Experience with Power Automate, Azure AD
