As a Procurement Specialist, you will manage the administrative part of the purchase order and order confirmation process for all our European entities related to Spotbuy purchases, ensuring the quality and effectiveness of the processes, securing compliance, while providing accurate information, and timely reporting. In addition, you will be responsible for the contract and price negotiations for small volumes in order to contribute to the profitability of the company.
In your new role you will:

• Convert Purchase Requisitions into Purchase Orders ;
• Transmit Purchase Orders to external vendors ;
• Ensure the quality of data in the Purchase Request and in the Purchase Order;
• Ensure alignment with Infineon?s Purchasing Processes , Guidelines and Working Instructions;
• Negotiate services and products including spare parts;
• Apply the golden rules of supplier engagement established by Corporate Procurement
• Regularly evaluate spot buy suppliers ;
• Cooperate and contribute to cross-functional and cross-site teams and projects .

You are best equipped for this position if you have:

• A degree in Commerce or related apprenticeship with the understanding of technical requirements;
• 1 to 3 years of experience in Purchasing or in a function in which you use your negotiation skills ;
• Good understanding of principles and concepts of Purchasing ;
• Experience with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel ? SAP is an advantage;
• Fluency in English and German is required.
