The opportunity
BTC team is strengthening its structure with a Tax Compliance Specialist. In this role, you will have the opportunity to help local and multinational companies meet complex tax compliance obligations and you will get a unique opportunity to become a trusted advisor, working collaboratively on a team that influences major business decisions.

Your key responsibilities

• Be part of multiple technical and advisory projects related with Tax Compliance in different clients;
• Ensure the submission of corporate tax obligations (IRC, IVA, IRS, IMI, etc), as as well as other compliance and reporting obligations (e.g. COPE and CBCR);
• Help local and multinational companies align their tax compliance position with their business strategy in order to maintain competitive advantage and provide shareholder value;
• Support in business tax compliance engagements;
• Identify and answer to complex corporate tax issues;
• Stay abreast of current tax, legal and business trends relevant to the client's business;
• Identifying and reacting to risks and opportunities to improve services and processes;
• Some support and training for the more junior elements;
• Contribute to the team?s good productivity and motivation with good communication and cooperation to guarantee the best result.

To qualify for the role, you must have

• Academic Degree in Tax, Economics or similar fields of study, mainly in reference university;
• 2 to 5 years of professional experience in Tax Compliance;
• Background in consulting environment, mainly in Big4 or Second Tier companies, is valued;
• Relevant knowledge about tax obligations;
• A thorough understanding of automated tax processing systems;
• Ability to work in multicultural projects and environments;
• Full English proficiency.
• Ideally, you?ll also have:
• Knowledge in ERP Navision or SAP.
