<text>We are looking for a Global Category Manager to join Bolt's Groceries Central team on our journey to build our grocery vertical and dark stores all over our markets throughout CEE and work both with local and HQ teams to achieve our ambitious delivery goals.
The Groceries Central team consists of individuals from all over the world who are closely working together on building the foundations for us to scale our operation globally.
The Global Category Manager will be responsible for defining the perfect product assortment strategy for all markets and working with local teams to source the exact quantity at the best possible price while ensuring we maximize revenue and consumer experience.
To succeed in this role a person must be smart, hard-working and focused on execution and achieving business results in a simple yet smart way.</text>

<point>Category Management. Define Bolt Market product assortment for all CEE markets and manage negotiations with suppliers in a profitable and pragmatic way.</point>

<point>Revenue growth and cost optimization. Work with key stakeholders to enhance revenue growth strategies within our product assortment.</point>

<point>Pricing. Develop and maintain the overall pricing strategy across all markets. Understand individual market pricing trends and identify opportunities for further profitable growth.</point>

<point>Promotion management. Develop and maintain a consumer-centric promotional plan. Own and maintain promotion analysis and data to understand the performance of our campaigns.</point>

<point>Employ data-driven decision making to drive the different categories. Provide insight to the local teams and work closely with HQ Campaigns, Marketing and Supply Chain team to ensure consistent supply.</point>

<point>Global Frameworks and negotiation terms. Make sure you serve as a bridge between local teams and our HQ team in order to resolve all terms as fast as possible.</point>

<point>Plan, hire, and initially manage smart, engaged & hardworking local category management teams.</point>

<point>Work and travel to local markets in order to improve both our negotiations with important suppliers as well as team performance.</point>

<point>Build strong relationships with the most important suppliers worldwide and manage important negotiations to ensure the best assortment and prices.</point>

<point>Collaborate and partner with the Central team to ensure our efforts are resourced to maximize positive impact to the overall growth of the business on all fronts.</point>

<gh-requirements>

<point>Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or a related field.</point>

<point>4+ years of working experience in Category Management or Purchasing in Retail, Q-Commerce, RGD or FMCG</point>

<point>Excellent communication skills in English </point>

<point>Proven negotiating skills, influencing abilities and relationship management experience.</point>

<point>Strong organisational skills including prioritising, scheduling, time management, and meeting deadlines.</point>

<point>Ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail.</point>

<point>Strong analytical and quantitative skills; experience using data and metrics to test theories, confirm assumptions, and measure success.</point>

<point>Proven ability to identify, analyse, and solve ambiguous problems independently with an exceptional attention to detail.</point>

<point>Proven track record of taking ownership and driving results.</point>
