We are looking for a talented and accomplished Human Resources Generalist to join our team.

As a HR Generalist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Support the HR Manager in providing a high quality and proactive service to both internal and external customers
• Meet both corporate and statutory requirements, encompassing all aspects of resourcing, employee relations, employee development and reward, and adding value in support of the Company?s business objectives
• Provide advice and guidance to the site leadership team on best practice in human resources management and compliance with employment legislation, and internal security and audit procedures
• Work closely with the site team, in the development of a performance driven culture, which encourages individual ownership of results and associate development
• Support the HR Manager in ensuring that the company remains fully compliant with changes to employment law and practices, and that these practices are implemented consistently
• Support the HR Manager in implementing appropriate actions to raise associate satisfaction levels
• Ensuring attendance and attrition is effectively managed and reviewed at site level, with remedial actions taken where necessary
• To contribute fully to the business planning process and ensure Human Resources Strategy is aligned to business goals
• Support the HR Manager in the effective management of Health and Safety issues at site

To succeed in the role, you will need to have:

• Advanced level of English (at least C1) both verbal and written
• Knowledge of Portuguese labor legislation
• Passion about HR methods
• Good understanding and experience with HR tools
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Self-organized, planning and prioritization skills
• Assertive with a can-do attitude
• Attention to detail
• Ability to work under pressure and adapt quickly to adverse situations
• Ability to work with staff at all levels
• Ability to support change initiatives
• Knowledge of and experience in the contact center industry (not mandatory)
• Must hold EU citizenship or valid work permit for Portugal
• Be a local candidate or willing to relocate to sunny Lisbon, Portugal

Education and experience.

• College degree in HR Management, Organisational Psychology or a relevant field
• Proven experience in Human Resources at least for the past year
• Customer Support Industry experience will be a plus
