Job Description

Your contribution to something big:

As a supplier quality engineer, you are globally responsible for a specific material group for the Bosch Thermotechnology division. We are currently looking for experts for the material group: cables/cable harnesses and pallets. As a PUQ expert, you will consolidate and coordinate all preventive and reactive quality measures for our 16 locations. More specific:

• In the supplier selection process, you perform potential analysis of the new supplier to verify if it could be selected to be a Bosch supplier. You actively bring in learnings from historical issues appeared in the supplier selection process as a basis for the decision;
• Furthermore, you bring in learnings (historical issues) in the material order specification which is defined by Engineering. Afterwards you are responsible for the part and product approval process (ISIR) of the supplier. Within that you verify all technical documents of the supplier;
• In the product development process, you are a part of the AQP process (advanced quality process). Within that you are responsible to check the FMEA (failure mode and effect analysis), process flow chart, process capabilities? within the supplier. Included is a process audit of the supplier, too;
• In case we have claims (line or field) you handle the claim process to the supplier. This includes a technical analysis of the problem to find the root cause of the issue as well as to define the proper corrective actions. Beside the technical problem solving process the commercial part to get reimbursed is covered by you, too.

Qualifications

What distinguishes you:

• Education: Completed master's degree or diploma in industrial engineering or a technical discipline (e.g. mechanical engineering or electrical engineering) with commercial postgraduate studies / additional qualification;
• Personality: self-assured, authoritative, assertive and solution-oriented
• Working method: analytical, structured and systematic;
• Experience and know-how: 3-5 years of professional experience in the field of external procurement quality assurance, in particular Q methods (8D, 5Why, Q-PDCA, KVP) and Q standards (ISO9001), very good knowledge in the area of determining and consolidating Q -Key figures (SAP);
• Enthusiasm: experience in conducting supplier audits, ability to moderate and willingness to travel of around 30%;
• Languages: very good knowledge of Portuguese and excellent written and spoken English.
