Sr Associate Compliance, Privacy & Data Protection

What you will do

The Sr. Associate Compliance, Privacy & Data Protection will participate in performing tasks related to business processes relating to Amgen?s collection and use of personal information. This individual will support compliance assessments and records of processing activities consistent with Amgen?s Protection of Personal Information Policy and Standard Operating Procedure ? Processing of Personal Information. The position will:

• Support country Compliance Leads in the ELMAC (Europe, Latin America, Middle East, Africa and Canada) region to ensure:
  • Maintenance of a local record of processing activities (ROPA)
  • Completion of privacy impact assessments (PIA)
  • Documentation of legitimate interest as grounds for lawful processing (as applicable)
  • Timely response to data subject requests
• Perform system compliance assessments, monitor output of information security risk assessments (ISRA) and third party risk assessments (TRPA), and provide appropriate input to the ROPA and PIA processes
• Monitoring new websites and social media channels for compliance with privacy requirements (e.g., implementation of cookie banners)
• Support Privacy Compliance colleagues to respond to government / data protection authority requests and inquiries
• Support the Head of Privacy & Data Protection in preparing Operating and/or Management Reviews, as required
• Support Head of Privacy & Data Protection in preparing for audits, as needed
