The HR Systems Administrator role is part of a dynamic and integrated global HR function delivering operational HR and Payroll services. The role works in collaboration with HR Business Partners (HRBPs) as a well as specialist functions such as Talent Acquisition, Reward, Digital HR, Global Mobility, Finance, Learning and Leadership to ensure an exceptional customer experience and high-quality business outcomes. You will act as a super-user for critical HR systems (Workday, ServiceNow etc.) and support the HR systems lead with ensuring effective day to day operation and the improvement and development of HR systems. You will coach and support other members of the Hire 2 Retire (H2R) team in the effective use and operation of these systems.

Role Description

  • Act as a Super User for HR systems ensuring that amendments to configuration are actioned in a timely manner ensuring that system availability and functionality is optimised. Apply this knowledge to solve incidents/problems and deliver changes.

  • Understand the business processes for HR and how the applications support the processes.

  • Provide first line support to staff and managers in the use and maintenance of the HR systems.

  • E nsure data management is secure and complies with Kantar? s data storage and transmission policies.

  • Support the delivery of quarterly and annual system upgrades, identifying changes and promoting system enhancements.

  • Support configuration changes that contribute to annual payroll and performance events such as upgrades and system enhancements, performance review, talent and objective setting including testing in pre-prod systems.

  • Keep up to date on system application releases, enhancements/new functionality and perform application research and share with wider team.

  • Work closely with HR Systems Lead to identify improvement opportunities and develop and deploy these in partnership with Digital HR team.

  • Monitor user data to understand and enhance user experience, working with KBS User Experience Manager top validate these opportunities.

  • Providing support and cover for other HR team members during demanding workload and absence as part of own personal development.

  • Enhance own professional skills through continual professional development and proactively gathering knowledge and best practice through practical experience and related project work.

Role Requirements

  • Degree level education or equivalent.

  • Experience of working in a Global Business Services (GBS) environment.

  • Knowledge of HR systems and data maintenance.

  • Experience of managing application releases and enhancements.

  • Proficient IT skills in Microsoft Office.

  • Fluent English speaker, accurately able to read and write English and to communicate effectively with senior stakeholders and management.

  • Strong service ethos and skills supported by hands on customer service delivery experience in an office environment.

  • Meticulous and accurate with excellent attention to detail.

  • Good communication skills.

  • Well organised, with ability to work to tight deadlines.

  • Strong understanding and respect for confidentiality.

  • Willingness to work flexibly across geographic time zones during peak periods such as periods such as annual performance review cycle.

  • Accredited/Certified with Service Now or Workday and experience of HR case/work management systems would be advantageous.
