CEX.IO is scaling the product org to match our increasing breadth of exciting products. We are looking for a talented Director of Product Design.

If you are a consumer product builder and collaborator, you?ll love working at CEX.IO. We are looking for a leader to be the driving force behind creating world class user digital experiences. This role will partner closely with Product & Engineering leadership and is responsible for all CEX design and user experience.

This position will require international travel. Candidates must be willing to work across different time zones as necessary.

What you own

• Product design and UX for all CEX consumer facing products.
• Establishment of a clear design vision and follow-on communication of design principles.
• Oversight and final approval for design guidelines, brand identity, elements, and patterns.
• Ensure consistent understanding and adoption of design and UX best practices and tools.
• Staffing and management of design team members.

Who you are

• 8+ years experience working within the digital product design industry.
• 3+ years management experience in a digital product-led organization.
• Strong visual aesthetic and design point of view which can be exemplified through your personal portfolio.
• A player coach who can lead a team and provide hands-on assistance when necessary.
• Able to put processes and frameworks in place to support rapid growth.
• Proficient at balancing consumer value, technical feasibility and usability.
• Collaborator who enjoys their craft and is excited to help others on their career journey.
• Start-up experience a plus

• Previous experience in crypto/FinTech space
