We're a company that deals with company spending: we think that all employees should be trusted to spend company money.
We do this through smart payment cards for companies: use your card, snap a picture of the receipt, and you're done. No more out of pocket expenses - no more boring expense reports. Our beautiful app makes it easy and transparent for management and finance teams to see what's being spent in real time, while taking the load of handling company spending off the finance team. Instead, companies who use Pleo delegate spending to all employees across the company.
It's an exciting time for us: we are in a very strong position as in our latest investment round we raised over $350M in Series C to grow. We have offices in Copenhagen, London, Stockholm, Berlin, Madrid and Lisbon - and you?d be working out of our amazing new office in Lisbon (either permanently or with regular travel), supporting an SMB sales team selling into the UK market.
The main objective for this role is to build upon our already successful momentum in the UK and more importantly: take it to the next level of growth.
For this, you?ll need to use your management experience for setting and executing on sales strategies, while also being passionate about developing our people and team to reach their full potential. And the cherry on top: you don?t shy away from picking up the phone and leading by example in sales when needed!
To be successful, we think that you will need to be very familiar with the UK B2B market. More specifically, you have knowledge about how things go down in the UK: how buyers want to buy, who to target and how, what channels to double down on, what bets to take and the general state of B2B SaaS sales in 2022 and beyond.
This way, not only would you be able to continue our current ways of doing things that are working, you would be able to bring new ideas of how to improve our sales results within the UK.
The B2B SaaS space is pretty specific from a go-to-market and sales training perspective. We see having a background in SaaS sales as a requirement to succeed in this role (but hey, we're also prepared to be surprised if you can adapt and learn fast to understand the ways to succeed in this!).
