Essential Responsibilities and Duties

• Support purchasing activities related to Global IT ? from price requests and negotiations to PO processing, follow up and closure of the process until delivery to the requestor
• Support bid / RFQ processes
• Maintain relationship with existing vendors and searching for alternatives
• Working with Finance on invoice/payment issues and intercompany transactions / reports
• Working with Logistics to support shipment and delivery issues
• Maintain purchasing data, including keeping necessary information up to date in existing tools and systems

Qualifications and Requirements

• Excellent English
• 1-3 years of experience in multinational environment in Purchasing
• Formal education (ideally Economics or business administration) would be a plus
• Good familiarity with Excel, ability to make numerical calculations
• Attention to detail, accuracy
• Demonstrated ability to negotiate
• Good interpersonal skills ? communication, collaboration
• Ability to track and bring multiple tasks to closure
