Position Summary

The Global Packaging Planning Analyst will support the planning and profitability processes for our Clinical Trials Division (CTD). Providing insight to the business by developing models, deciphering variances and providing meaningful commentary on both site and regional data trends. They will assist the Global data science efforts in the development and delivery of intelligent and timely data to the business to support decision making and will develop relationships across the business in order to develop the value of the planning function.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and lead data analysis for the key pillars of our planning process ? Customer facing, tools and reporting, Supply and Demand.
  • Support the forecasting, planning and profitability processes across all CTD sites.
  • Maintain Key Performance Indicators for the end to end packaging planning cycle from Customer Intelligence to site capabilities to operational delivery.
  • Work directly with Customer planning teams in order understand current and future demand patterns and convert customer forecast into meaning full demand data.
  • Support, define and request data requirements to link to the Global Data science efforts in the development and delivery of intelligent and timely data to the business to support decision making.
  • Link together the financial vs operation elements of our data and analysis.
  • Prepare files for monthly Sales and Operating planning reviews for all regions and sites Quarterly customer reviews and periodic senior management reviews.

What experience will you bring?

An understanding of the Fisher Clinical Services (FCS) supply chain would be a distinct advantage

Experience working as an Analyst within the Pharmaceutical industry or FMCG industry would be an advantage

Previous experience within an analytical role either within Supply chain planning or finance

Ability to work both independently and in a group setting, with little direction

Experience developing financial / business models

Understanding of FCS systems including Global Project Management, Sales force and Finance tools

High level of IT Literacy

Customer facing experience

Good time management and priority setting skills

Excellent verbal and written communication, experience presenting to management
