Key Responsibilities:
Reporting for Group and statutory GAAP
- Responsible for the timeliness and integrity of the financial reporting (including tax reporting) for the Reporting unit 1100. Close collaboration with GBS through the closing process (monthly checklist and certification).
- Agreement and monitoring of the service levels with the GBS Team.
- Build and review the Statutory financials
Forecasting
- Connect with all functional stakeholders and partners (including sister companies and JV) for the monthly update of the earnings and cash forecast.
- Drive continuous improvement activities towards forecast accuracy
- Lead the budget process for the Reporting Unit 1100 in accordance with Group deadlines.
Business Partnering
- Providing variance analysis to functional leaders or their finance analyst related to functional expenses : variance versus budget, prior year, prior estimate for the relevant cost centres
- Develop ad hoc reporting as per functional leader
Ensure compliance with internal policies and processes
- Responsible for maintaining a strong control environment for the reporting unit adopting corporate policies (DOA) and adapting them the Head-office environment if relevant.
Leading the year-end intercompany recharge process
- Monitor the calculation and year-end recharging mechanism as per the intercompany contractual agreements in place(Torque, CSA, GSA, SMC agreements and specific one to one agreements with SDS and the other JV)
Essential Qualifications & Experience
- Accounting / Audit qualifications preferred
- Ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels
- Leadership to ensure compliance of the remote associates to the corporate policies
