The Role ? Location: While this position is posted in a specific location, all of Oyster's positions are fully remote and you can work from home. Forever. Oyster is looking to hire a Senior Manager ? Finance Operations (Payments) to lead our Payments function. This role will play a vital role in developing and delivering payment strategies to enable seamless integrations and a superb customer experience. At Oyster, the Finance function is critical to the success of the company and this role will play a key role in delivering scaleable payment processes which can withstand complexities and volume. This role will need to build strong relationships across finance, especially with the Treasury, Data Transformation and P2P teams. Oyster is a global business in a high growth / high volume environment so candidates should thrive working in a complex but rewarding environment. Successful candidates will have superb understanding of P2P processes and have experience in a complex payment environment. This role will report to the Director of Finance Operations and will manage a globally distributed team of 2 from the start.

What you'll do?

• Responsible for ownership and execution of accurate and timely payments in a global, fast-moving payments environment
• Play a key managerial role in the automation of global payments processes
• Key collaboration with P2P, Treasury and Transformation teams
• Manage at least 2 direct reports from the start

What we're looking for

• Proven experience of execution in a global, complex payments environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Proven managerial experience across timezones in a remote environment
• Superb attention to detail
• Superb understanding and experience of purchase-to-pay process
• Finance Certification or equivalent

• Proficient in Google Suite of products (Gmail, Google Doc, Google Sheets)
• Positive and proactive attitude, excited to roll up sleeves & build something
• A good sense of humor and willingness to assist others no matter how small the task
• Proven experience of leading global payment structures in a global, complex environment
• Within the GMT (0 UTC) // EST (-5 UTC) timezone preferred but not mandatory
