Our small yet talented analytics engineering team is part of Pipedrive?s data tribe. We are working closely with our data engineers and analysts. Among other things, the team is responsible for setting and maintaining the data serving layer guidelines and rules to ensure reports are accurate, clean and easy to use and access.

What you?ll do:

• Help to develop and maintain analytics platform guidelines and policies and apply them across the organization
• Collect, document and apply best documentation practices on our analytics platform
• Support and train self-service users of our analytics platform
• Connect between Pipedrive?s data engineering and data analysts community
• Develop and sustain analytical data models in cooperation with the data engineering team
• Build and optimize new and existing data sources and queries to support self-serve reporting needs of business owners within the organization
• Liaise between business owners and data engineers to translate business needs/questions into actionable and accurate data that addresses them
• Be responsible for maintaining a ?clean? inventory by removing irrelevant queries/workbooks and ensuring its assets are actionable and helpful

We?re looking for someone with:

• An undergraduate degree in a relevant field (e.g., computer science, software engineering, statistics, applied math, etc.)
• 1+ years of experience working with relational databases
• Experience working with data visualization tools like Tableau, PowerBI or QlikView is a plus
• A curious and inquisitive mind
• Passion about data, its inheritance and efficient processing
• The ability to work remotely with international teams and collaborate in agile environment (via IM and calls)
• Excellent data evaluation, pattern recognition and optimization skills
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills: a person who can clearly explain why he has chosen which solution and how it addresses the problem at hand
