Role Summary
JLL Hotel Advisory, due to continued success is currently seeking a highly motivated and qualified individual to join our team.

Responsibilities

  • Participation in all elements of the transaction and advisory processes;
  • Participation in all activities related to single and portfolio asset sale including the sourcing new projects and the preparation of investment material, potential investor identification, direct contact and follow-up, supervision of due diligence process, sale negotiation and other;
  • Participation in operator searches and identification of operators that maximize hotel value and are in line with the best exit strategy;
  • Negotiate operating agreements including hotel leases, management agreements and franchises;
  • Developing financial models that can evaluate the effects of different strategic alternatives (M&A, IPO, asset developments, assets under operation, etc.) under varying capital structures;
  • Corporate, portfolio, and asset-level valuation analysis;
  • Preparation of premium presentation materials for client pitches, investor information memoranda, and other transaction-related marketing documents, both in English and Portuguese;
  • Need to work efficiently to a high standard and with little supervision and support;

  • Hotels and leisure sector experience is not required but a strong interest in these areas is preferred;
  • Advanced MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Outlook required;
  • Desirable: Experience in Capforce, data analytics, and/or BI tools;

Professional Qualifications
The desired candidate should have experience in hotel real estate with ideally some exposure to hotel consulting & valuation & brokerage. Aside from being an excellent seller, also need to have the ability to work with a certain degree of independence and being able to complete assignments with little support and supervision.
Candidates will ideally have a strong knowledge of the Portuguese market and a credible reputation and be a detailed-oriented person who can tackle multiple assignments. S/he needs to be a strong communicator, networker and needs to have a seller attitude.
Fluency in Portuguese and English are a must, all other languages are advantageous.
