The French Retail GMO Coordinator is acting as the central point of contact for all requests / issues / incidents / initiatives raised within GMO perimeter and linked to transactions originated by BDDF entrep Regional Dealing Rooms and executed with the support of GMCN France front office product specialists.
The Coordinator works 1) closely with the different stakeholders involved both within GM and BDDF Entrep ie Global Markets teams (included but not limited to GMCN operator, Business manager , Global Markets Operations teams - Referential, Documentations, Client Services, Settlement, Collateral, KYC teams, CLMR) and BDDF Entrep Regional Dealing Room sales + support team 2) through a wide array of products (mainly FX Cash, FXD and IRD but also Commodities, Credit).
The French Retail Global Markets Operations Coordinator engages with appropriate level of management internally in order to enhance operational efficiency and advance the firm to firm relationship.
Your Main Activities Are
Understand French BDDF Entrep Clients specific requirements, GMO processes & organisation as well as operational risk management topic.
Help management to navigate within GMO organisation and across the various operational Lisbon teams
Maintain the relationship with our Sales and GMCN team and understand client needs operationallywise
Act as key interface / escalation point within GMO teams in order to adress initiatives / issues / requests / incidents and ensure their timely resolution:
Leveraging on his knowledge of the organisation as well as transactional processes to quickly detect incidents roots and stakeholders impacted
Coordinate Operational Issues & Incidents with relevant GMO teams to ensure timely resolution
Contribute actively to remediate incidents jointly with the managers' impacted and prevent issues to re-occur
Pro-actively follow-up on actions taken and escalate if needed
Ensure exceptions, if any, are correctly applied to BDDF Entrep client base and properly monitored through time
Be an advocate of continous operational improvement
Best practice sharing and ensure proper channelling of information across teams
Be proactive in suggesting new ideas to streamline and improve operational processes
Contribute to projects impacting GMCN France perimeter such as ones aiming to harmonise operational processes between CIB and BDDF Clients
Profile and Skills to Success
Experience in banking or relevant experience is a plus
Knowledge of Financial Markets, related products, and derivatives
Ability to work with MS Office (namely, Excel)
Innovative and creative
Rigorous to ensure quality
Strong interpersonal skills
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Be client oriented
Bachelor Degree in Economics, Finance, Management, Business Administration (or similar areas)
Fluent in English
Fluent in French
