The Global Shared Services (GSS) Source to Settle (StS) Global Process Owner (GPO) Senior Specialist will report to the StS GPO Lead, and will work collaboratively with a team of around 40 professional StS process colleagues in the Center responsible for delivery. Our Company's StS process areas include Vendor Master Data, Purchase Order Management, Invoice Processing, Settlements, & Employee Expense Management. The GPO Senior Specialist along with the GPO Lead own and are responsible for the complete end-to-end StS process in our Company across all regions.

Our Company was established as an independent company in June of 2021 and GSS is now in the process of standing up our Global Service Center. The StS GPO Senior Specialist will be a key contributor in standing up StS Operations in the Center. They will help to build a strong governance and relationships and establish stable, effective, standardized and controlled StS Process delivery to our GSS clients. Concurrently, our Company is implementing its Global ERP SAP S/4 Hana platform and the StS GPO Senior Specialist will assume a core role in supporting this implementation.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Aligns key stakeholders (customers, business unit leaders, management) on global StS process direction.

  • Develops and implements StS process improvement initiatives to quality, flexibility, and simplicity of processes.

  • Review Functional Specification and design documents to ensure they meet business requirements.

  • Process design, documentation, and training in support of the implementation of SAP S/4 HANA.

  • Works with Project Management Office (PMO), GPOs, to develop and manage scope, assign, and schedule resources including local markets.

  • Apply Finance and Accounting skills and business knowledge to directly contribute to the delivery of Key Performance Indicators (KPI), metrics, and analysis, which measures delivery performance and process health.

  • Works with IT to manage technology investments associated with StS process.

  • Monitors data, develops and analyzes reports, and tracks specific activity to ensure records are synchronized; acts to facilitate issue resolution and remediates discrepancies.

Education Minimum Requirements:

  • Bachelor?s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or other field related to Process/Program Management.

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Up to 5 years of total experience in as many of the StS areas like Purchase Order Management, Invoice Processing, Settlements, & Employee Expense Management.

  • Fluency in English. Additional languages highly valued.

  • Experience in process design, process mapping, improving process quality, process review and compliance.

  • Knowledge of process management, automation, SAP environments and process governance highly desirable.

  • Demonstrated experience working in a shared service environment.

  • Demonstrated experience developing standard processes and deploying them across a global enterprise.

  • Good and broad knowledge about SAP world such as SAP PGR, FI/CO & Reporting.

  • Excellent communication skills & experience with international & diverse audiences.

  • Ability to think strategically as well as tactically.

  • Experience working on regional or global teams. (Valued: Experience of Launching/Standing up a Shared Service Center).

  • Experience with Internal or External Audit valued.

  • Demonstrated experience working in large teams collaboratively.

  • Demonstrated strong math, query, analytical and systems skills with demonstrated experience in data management, MS Office.

  • Demonstrated ability to maintain financial controls.

  • Ability to engage & manage in a remote work environment.
