Your Main Activities Are

  • Perform month-end financial closing for the financial instruments followed (Derivatives, Bonds, Issuer bonds, Equities, Commodities, Clearing and Custody Fees?)
  • Perform the P&L, cost of funding, Forex positions and balance sheet reconciliation between accounting data and Economic data from middle-offices on her / his perimeter
  • Prepare and book monthly entries as necessary
  • Provide assistance in responding to questions from the external auditors, Operations, and other support groups
  • Act as the first level of review to ensure accuracy, completeness, and validity by reviewing and approving all related to capital market activities
  • Participate in the upgrades/version releases of respective reporting tools
  • Assist in identifying operational process improvements in production, control procedures, and workflow organization to increase the team?s efficiency and effectiveness
  • Observe the bank?s policies and procedures
  • Assist in any special project or request as directed by management

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Business school, University Graduate, Master Degree in Accounting or Finance Degree
  • Experience of working in an international environment appreciated
  • English Advanced
  • French will be a plus
  • Banking accounting
  • Market activities knowledge
  • Financial instruments
  • Working knowledge and understanding of generally accepted accounting principles, both in IFRS and French GAAP (an asset)
  • Effective analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Self-starter and team player, able to work independently and collaboratively with various teams in a deadline-focused environment
  • Excel
