Ferring is hiring a team of Finance professionals in Lisbon to strengthen the Financial Operations team, with focus on Accounting & Reporting and in the continuous improvement of processes and activities. The core Vision, Mission and Commitment of our Finance professionals is to drive key strategic initiatives to support the Ferring Growth Agenda, raise our performance level and strategic contribution to the business. We are looking to attract highly qualified and extremely motivated candidates to join our team.
Your New Role As Project & Process Improvement Manager, you are expected to support the Accounting & Reporting and the Consolidation teams achieve their deliverables, whilst engaging with the Finance Vision, Mission and Commitment. In addition, by understanding the E2E and F&A processes and procedures in place, you will propose, develop and implement improvements to better support Corporate Finance. You will also be responsible for ensuring a strict implementation and adherence to group policies and guidelines, instructions, processes and systems. You will be working with dedicated Finance teams and relevant stakeholders. In addition you will get involved and take ownership in important and impactful projects, specifically aimed at continuous improvement and efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Defining the F&A processes and pro-active identification of process improvement (Continuous improvement); and leading and carrying out delivery of F&A process improvement projects.
  • Deciding, designing, and carrying out project management processes and methods with regards to F&A processes.
  • Defining effective process and delivery requirements and support the process harmonization on a global scale.
  • Support HQ/Corporate Finance in the implementation of corporate Finance programs, processes or procedures which are to be locally applied.
  • Strict implementation and adherence to internal guidelines, instructions, processes and systems, local as well as global

What you'll need to succeed - Education/Qualifications/Skills:
  • Bachelor's or master's degree in Business Administration, Corporate Finance, Accounting or related field.
  • 2 to 4 years relevant work experience in Accounting and Reporting.
  • Experience in process improvement and re-design.
  • Demonstrated solid analytical capacity and understanding of financial and accounting principles and processes.
  • Experience working with Power BI, Data cubes and familiar with SAP and/or Navision
  • Ability to work in matrix organization, demonstrating excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Business acumen, problem-solving, customer focus and collaboration skills are essential.
  • Proficient level of English (spoken and written)
