Job Description

Are you ready to work as a Category Management and Intelligence Shopper Insights Sr Associate for our business in Lisbon? This role would be responsible to lead and support the development and execution of strategic shelf and assortment direction to grow the business in all channels. This job masters Shopper Bus Intelligence tools to meet Shopper and Customer needs and maximize Assortment and Shelf efficiency across PepsiCo categories. It also works collaboratively with customers and sales teams providing key information and insights to grow the business using category, shopper, customer, retailer and manufacturer lens.
Your day to day with us:

  • Provides support to BU leadership Team and KAM?s related with business insights that result from mastering Business Intelligence Customer tools such as AIP loyalty card data from SONAE & EMNOS ANALYZER tool from Pingo Doce and Nielsen data.
  • Responsible for Space Management projects: range rationalization and planograms;
  • Supports space management agenda through assortment analysis, distribution, space assessment and merchandising performance;
  • Define relevant requirements for Perfect Store program providing Picture of Success inputs for all channels.
  • Translates strategic shelf direction into tactical plans and provides customer point of view on shelf and space trends;
  • Presents directly to customer and continuously fuels partnership with key customer stakeholders;
  • Executes action plan and builds customer relationship for specific customers to optimize shelf space, grow and protect brand space, ensure incremental space for brand innovation and implement gold stands planograms;
  • Responsible for guaranteeing the correct implementation and tracking of main shelf projects;
  • Applies analytical skills to identify, measure and quantify business performance relative to space management;
  • Supports leadership team with retail/ shopper trends within the categories identifying busines opportunities and/or treats;
  • Develops detailed customer specific analytic scorecards using appropriate information sources to gather information that uncovers insights on business and help to capture channel & KA opportunities to defend SOM;

Qualifications/Requirements

What will you need to succeed?
  • University Degree in Business Administration or alike. Alternatively, other University degree with postgraduate studies in Economics or alike would be desirable;
  • High Level of English and good Level of Spanish;
  • Good computer Skills (on excel and PowerPoint);
  • Very good analytical thinking and communication skills;
  • High level of interest for commercial/sales activity;
  • High interpersonal skills, as well as high capacity to influence and negotiate;
  • Experience in commercial functions (Trade Marketing, KAM or Field) of consumer goods;
  • FMCG?s market knowledge
