As a Tax Specialist, you will be part of the Global Infineon TAX team and will focus on the Tax compliance and reporting obligations in Europe. Moreover, you will develop expertise and increase process efficiency and compliance by continuously monitoring, identifying, and implementing improvements.
In your new role you will:

  • Prepare and submit tax returns and statistical reports , as well as necessary compliance checks according to defined deadlines ensuring that reports and reconciliations are concluded on time, assessments notices and audits are completed and well documented.
  • Review accounting records, document content, and applicability of legal regulations monitoring correction of inaccurate data.
  • Ensure the relevant policies/practices are in line with Tax law, German Central Bank regulations and internal procedures , actively contributing and supporting reporting related issues.
  • Be responsible for the correspondence with different departments and local/central business partners , with regards to requirements and compliance.
  • Collaborate in the integration of new entities/activities , definition and implementation of new processes, tools and realities that business decides, from reporting perspective.
  • Actively contribute in internal projects , supporting on legislation updates, verifying the impact in process, aligning and adapting controls.
  • Identify opportunities for effective and efficient direct/indirect tax processes , minimizing risk, promoting and implementing digitalization and automation.
  • Provide training to Finance .
  • Assure clear and complete documentation for all procedures.

You are best equipped for this task if you have:
  • A degree in Accounting, Finance, Taxes or similar field of studies.
  • At least 1 year of experience in Indirect Taxes and Accounting or a similar role, preferably in an international and multicultural environment.
  • Proven experience in working with SAP and Microsoft Office (especially Excel and PowerPoint).
  • Flexibility to identify and adopt process changes that increase efficiency and compliance.

  • Fluency in English . German would be an advantage.
