WHAT WE ARE HIRING

We are looking for a dynamic Finance Controller to be responsible for all aspects of Schréder Hyperion?s financial management. As a Finance Controller, you will be responsible for the financial and management reporting, budget and forecast preparation of Schréder Hyperion?s projects on a global level. You will collaborate with the CFO to drive improvement on the financial planning, analysis processes and reporting and will assist with innovation incentives and grants. The ideal candidate will be highly analytical with a flair for numbers and will bring strong organizational skills and attention to detail within a thorough knowledge of accounting procedures and financial topics.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Prepare and analyse financial information at Group level, including the Group annual budgets and quarterly financial forecasts in close collaboration with the regional and local teams;
  • Processing accounting and financial documents, ensuring an accurate and timely monthly close process;
  • Periodic and ad hoc analysis of the financials to drive business improvements;
  • Contribute to an improved understanding of the financial implications of business decisions;
  • Controlling functions regarding the cash flow management;
  • Preparation of monthly rolling forecasts following monthly discussions with the units head of departments;
  • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting;
  • Assist in the implementation of financial tools and standardization of reporting as part of the group Digital Transition project;
  • Assistance and training of less experienced colleagues, on-the-job coaching, induction of new colleagues, delegating, reviewing the work of others.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR


  • Master?s Degree in Economics or Finance;
  • Minimum 3 years of experience working in a financial audit environment (Big Four experience preferred);
  • Experience within a financial department in an international company is a plus;
  • Advanced experience with financial planning and analysis;
  • Fluent in Portuguese and English with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, written and verbal.
