Position Summary

The digital transformation is a key evolution in the Group and particularly within Finance and Control. FC GAR ICOS has been at the forefront of leveraging data analytics and digital for effective controls.

This includes for example, the detection of the unusual trends and analysis of the root causes of aged Balance Sheet items, leveraging advanced data techniques such as Machine Learning. The position aims to reinforce our existing team and can be considered as a developmental role for talent with relevant exposure to Shared Services Centers (SSC) or Market processes, as well as IT & Data experts willing to contribute to business process improvement.

The position allows you to scale up the impact from your busines and data skills, offers exposure to the Head office (Centre) and Group environment, interaction with a variety of Centre, IT, Markets and SSC stakeholders and importantly developing your change management abilities.

You will work in a professional and passionate Internal Control team, with the Vision to provide Markets and Businesses with tangible support and tools to reach best in class internal controls plus correcting sub-optimal business processes.

A Day in the Life of an IC Data Analytics & Digital Expert

• Work with IT on the development of internal control solutions to further automate our controls and develop the concept of near event detection plus enlarging the risk coverage within key finance and operational processes
• Execute hands on pilots with new risk indicators and detection methodologies
• Analyse global results to trigger the most meaningful control investigation alerts for Markets, SSCs and Centre Management
• Assist with the identification of sub-optimal processes and their redesign for better efficiency and control.

What will make you successful

• Possesses robust hands-on business process exposure in CCS or at Market (ex. Finance, Supply Chain etc.)
• Able to interpret & tell the story behind the data, connecting data trends to understand the root causes of problems
• IT literate, able to execute and develop, light automation concepts in tools such as Power Business Intelligence dashboard.
• Very comfortable with the analysis of SAP (ERP) business data
• Able to effectively work with virtual teams across functions and cultures
• Possessing good communication skills for managing stakeholders in the business
• Fluent in English, both spoken and written
