Discover Impactful Work:
The Sr. Global Product Manager for Autoimmunity Diagnostics will develop and own the strategy and roadmap for several lines of Autoimmunity products to maximize short- and long-term market growth in line with the company strategy. Responsibilities include full product-life-cycle management which consists of, but is not limited to, collaborating with various other departments to describe goals for product development, market research, agree on clinical, health-economic, and regulatory strategies, as well as to define customer requirements, execute on product launches, and conduct product trainings.
A day in the Life:
  • Develop global business strategies including situation analysis, pricing, registration planning, defining needs for evidence generation, segmentation, targeting, positioning, and revenue forecasting
  • Develop and maintain a detailed knowledge of the autoimmune diagnostic customer segment, market needs, and competitive landscape
  • Lead the preparation of business cases and define product requirements in close cooperation with commercial organizations to meet global customer needs
  • Coordinate with R&D, operations, and sales to support product design
  • Execute on the portfolio strategy and marketing plans to achieve business goals; recommend direction and product positioning for assigned products
  • Design marketing mix and go-to-market strategies to create competitive advantage, in collaboration with customer marketing
  • Support worldwide business growth (short and long-term) with clearly defined goals, objectives, critical success factors, timelines, budgets, and action items
  • Provide support to the global sales organizations, including KOL and customer visits

Keys to Success:
Education
  • University degree in science (Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Immunology etc.)
  • Master's degree in Marketing or MBA is strongly preferred

Experience
  • 5+ years? experience in Product Management
  • Experience in diagnostics, medical device, or other regulated markets
  • Experience with the US FDA and bringing diagnostic products to the US market a strong plus
  • Experience in the autoimmune disease market and knowledge of autoimmune testing is a strong plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
  • Good and strong communication skills in English required, adept with communication at all levels in a professional and effective manner
  • Strong analytical skills required, as well as the ability to synthesize and integrate customer insights, draw conclusions/implications, and translate information into comprehensive portfolio strategies and business recommendations
  • Demonstrated success in collaboration within multi-national and cross-functional matrix environment
  • Display a desire to push the operation ?to consistently be better? whilst acknowledging and sharing the achievements of the team
  • Self-motivated with good organizational skills and ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
  • Able to present high-level information for multiple audiences, including scientist, executives, and laymen
  • Excellent strategic thinker with solid written and verbal communication skills
