What is your mission?
You will be a key member of the team implementing SAP into our business that spans across Europe and includes many different products. You will be a part of all aspects of the project but you will primarily be responsible for the accounting work that has to be done for the implementation. We want someone who has had broad exposure to the field of accounting, who has been a practicing accountant and who knows what accounting best practices are. You must be adaptable, a problem solver and a good communicator.
In that sense, you'll be responsible for:

• Help in the process of designing our ERP system so that it is customised to best fit how our business will look in the future;
• Liaise with our technical implementation partners to make sure that all our needs and wants for our system are addressed;
• Find ways of automating as many financial processes as possible;
• Liaise with local accountants across our entities in Europe to understand what local accounting and reporting requirements are needed and you will have to make sure that our new ERP system captures all of these requirements;
• Work on a project to understand how we will connect our ERP system to other systems in the company in order to automate the posting of revenue into our books;

What is your story?

• Bachelor's degree or higher in Accounting, Finance or related field;
• 4 to 5 years of audit experience in a Big 4 firm;
• Accounting certification (e.g. ACA, ACCA, CPA) is a plus;
• Strong computer skills, MS Excel in particular (managing spreadsheets, creating charts and using advanced formulas);
• Proven knowledge of IFRS accounting standards and related laws and regulations;
• Exceptional analytical skills to manage large amounts of data;
• Excellent quantitative problem-solving skills;
• Attention to detail and accuracy;
• Ability to prioritise work and manage shifting priorities;
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment and partner well with people at all levels within an organisation;
• Detail-oriented individual who is hard-working, quicker learner, self-motivated, and takes ownership of projects;
• Willingness to travel;
• Fluent in English;
