Job Description


We are looking for our new Senior Key Account Manager for Spain. In this role, your key responsabilities will be:

  • Manage key strategic accounts (National & International) within the retail market in Spain, such as Comercial del Sur, Makro Paper, Dos-Office, Lyreco, Kalamazoo and JM Bruneau with an overall of 4.5M EUR NS, which represents around 15% of the total NS Spain.
  • Set up commercial objectives and business plans per customer.
  • Develop promotional activities and tailor-made actions together with the Marketing Department in line with the local and European Marketing strategy,
  • Identify customer needs and opportunities based on clear analysis of the market & customer prepared by Marketing and Category Management Departments (Nielsen / GFK analyses).
  • Act as a product and category specialist. Advice buyers on assortment, retail selling prices and market trends,
  • Prepare and negotiate local contracts, obtain new listings and develop existing product portfolio in line with the local and European sales & pricing policy,
  • Manage customer budget, Year end Rebates, COOP budgets and report them through a CRM reporting system,
  • Provide a forecast per customer, attend forecast meetings, enter forecasts for promotions in a CRM reporting tool.
  • Collect information on the market related to customers and competitors and inform other departments such as Customer Service, Marketing, Category Management, and Finance.

Qualifications
  • Higher education with a minimum of 8/10 years managing Key Accounts (previous experience in Trade Marketing, Marketing or Category Management will be a plus)
  • Good level of English
  • Good level of IT Skills (Excel, Powerpoint, P&L management?)
  • Negotiation skills
  • Sense of challenge and entrepreneurship spirit
  • Marketing orientation and good creativity
