As a Financial Controller Trainee, you will play a crucial role in supporting the Controlling activities at our site in Porto.
In your new role, you will:

  • Contribute to guarantee data quality and accuracy in terms of accounting, reporting, and budgeting process ;
  • Be involved in site Controlling activities including forecasting, cost center reporting, investment planning, liquidity planning, headcount control, reporting , and month-end closing activities;
  • Participate in Monthly closure with P&L reporting , analysis, and sharing with Finance Team;
  • Extract information from the analytic accounting system and data set up according to the analysis requested by the corporate functions aimed at supporting decision-making.

Furthermore, you thrive in an international environment and want to work towards excellence in order to generate value with your efforts.
You are best equipped for this position if you have:
  • A Business degree with a major in Audit, Accounting, Finance, or equivalent field;
  • Previous internship experience (e.g. internal or external audit function, controller or accountant) is a plus;
  • Understanding of principles and concepts in IFRS ;
  • Good knowledge of MS Office Tools with an advanced level of Excel is required;
  • Experience working with SAP would be a plus;
  • Fluency in the English language (mandatory).
