Role?s Mission

You will act as a Client Manager and be part of our Worldpanel Portugal Client Service team. The Client Manager will be a key point of contact for clients to handle data requests and project briefs, ensuring timely, accurate delivery of information and offering a good level of insight whilst also contributing to the growth of the client?s business within Kantar by identifying potential revenue opportunities. This will include working across a portfolio of clients, supporting and engaging with different internal teams.

This role will suit an independent Client manager who wants to build client relationships, create engaging data stories, as well as handle data requests and project briefs. You will join a team known for being dynamic, fun and supportive that has been driving growth to the Portuguese business in a very impressive way.

Key Responsibilities

  • You will be responsible for delivering briefs, managing day to day requests, developing contacts and relationships, generating and converting a pipeline of revenue opportunities;
  • Client Relationships - Manage the practical/on the ground delivery of the contracted service with respect to quality, speed and breadth of data and the servicing they are entitled to;
  • Account Handling - Understand the client?s ways of working and ensure delivery of information and their experience of our servicing, meets these requirements. Be responsible for managing the day-to-day workload on the area of the business you have responsibility for, through the timely and accurate completion of ad-hoc requests and project briefs;
  • Analysis & Insigh t ? production & interpretation of analysis with a focus on answering key questions with strong and actionable recommendations. Discuss briefs with clients challenging where appropriate to make sure requests have been properly thought through and offering advice on how best to tackle issues;
  • Revenue ? This is a commercial role. You will own a budget for each of your clients, along with a personal revenue target. Through building great relationships with the client, you will uncover questions/ business issues which are outside the scope of our current contract (e.g. different categories/ more complex questions) and work with your manager and the wider team to shape proposals against these questions.

Requirements

  • Degree in Marketing, Statistics, Sociology, or similar qualification;
  • 3-5 years working experience. Data Knowledge, Market research and Account management experience (achieve and exceed challenging targets);
  • Proven record of building relationships with clients in a leading capacity; strong interpersonal skills, the ability to expand your contact base and build trusting partnership relationships;
  • A strong verbal and visual presentation skills with the ability to put together insightful and impactful presentations; the ability to articulate in a confident and composed manner;
  • Effectiveness in analyzing, interpreting data and articulating the business implications;
  • Experience working with market trends/consumer behavior/panel insights;
  • English Proficiency (B2 level minimum);
  • Strong project management and organizational skills.
