SAP Solution Delivery Center Portugal is responsible for supporting SAP customers through their digital transformation. In our Big Data and Analytics Cloud team, we are looking for a highly motivated and customer-focused team member to successfully delivery solutions for Enterprise Performance Management.

This is a delivery-focused role including support to pre-sales and/or sales initiatives for demand generation and business development. We are looking for an experienced senior level consultant with executive level experience to engage with our customers? senior executives, technical and LOB leaders whereby you will articulate the business value of our Cloud Financial Planning & Analysis solutions such as SAC Planning as well as on-premise solutions such as SAP BPC in the area of Extended Enterprise Planning.

Key:

Financial Planning & Analysis process experience and solution knowledge in the area of Enterprise Performance Management.

Expectations and tasks:

• Engage clients in workshops and interviews to analyze process and reporting requirements;
• Support ad-hoc sales opportunities that require senior executive engagement to support the sales cycle;
• Present SAP EPM and Extended Planning solution capabilities, value proposition, key differentiators at senior executive levels and large audiences;
• SAP EPM consultant will be engaging in SAP EPM projects to analyze & develop business process design, requirement gathering, facilitating workshops and technical configurations in SAP BPC or SAC Planning;
• Communicating with internal project managers/clients to understand the business requirements to conclude the blueprint, configuration, testing, migration, support and continuous enhancements of the Reporting and other modules if required;
• Provides functional and configuration knowledge in designing and implementing S/4HANA Financial Planning solutions;
• Support data migration and change management execution; delivering training and supporting users post cutover.

Requirements:

• Minimum of a Bachelor?s Degree in Business, IT, Engineering, Science, Mathematics or Data Science;
• 5+ years of hands-on customer facing Enterprise Architect, Presales, Solution Advisor, Business Development, Business Consultancy or SAP Consulting experience in the area of Data & Analytics and Business Planning;
• Financial Planning & Analysis process experience and solution knowledge is a must;
• Expertise in Consolidation processes a big plus;
• Proven track record of managing and delivering critical projects and Proof of Concepts for large customers to prove the viability of SAC for Planning / SAP Business Planning and Consolidation / Collaborative Enterprise Planning;
• 6-12 years of hands-on SAP BPC (SAP BPC experience in S/4 HANA is a plus) project implementation experience and system configuration;
• Experience with SAP BW-IP projects and/or support, which should include working with SAP Analysis for Office, BW-IP Planning Sequences, FOX Formulas, BW modelling and BEx Query design;
• Advanced user of Microsoft Excel being able to maintain and create complex VBA scripts;
• Experiences in Data Management and Data Warehousing; Basic understanding in ABAP;
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, as well as, interpersonal skills including collaboration, presentation, facilitation and persuasion;
• Fluency in English.

Nice to have:

• Strong integration knowledge in SAP Finance & Controlling modules including AR, AP, Asset, GL, COPA, Management & Statutory Reporting.
• Fluency in other European Language will be a plus
