We're looking for a motivated and driven Senior Accounting Manager in Lisbon (m/f/d) who will help us shape our team, drive the company to the next level, and have the most direct influence on our success.

Your Tasks ? Paint the world green

• Make sure Oracle roll-out started on 01/01/2022 is a success in both Portuguese and Spanish entities.
• Assist in various areas of financial reporting, month-end, quarter and year-end close, and/or other daily/monthly accounting processes in relation with our Accounting Shared Service Center based in Sofia.
• Prepare various types of account reconciliations in Oracle Cloud between primary (Group GAAP) and secondary ledger (local GAAP) and solve issues if they happen.
• In charge of local compliance in Portugal (tax topics, VAT, SAF-T, COPE and other local requirements) and in Spain.
• Supervise monthly balance sheet reconciliations and monthly journal entries
• Escalate issues noted to management in a timely manner
• Identify and coordinate process improvements with the help of Sofia Hub, Western Finance Hub and HQ teams
• Ability to prepare clear and concise documentation and build a strong local accounting organization in a fast-growing environment.

Your Profile ? Ready to hop on board

• Master's Degree or equivalent in Accounting or Finance
• 5+ years' experience in Accounting in Portugal (and Spain is a plus)
• Fluent English and Portuguese, Spanish is a plus
• System experience with ERP is required, Oracle Fusion is a plus
• Experience with month-end closing process, GL and submodule reconciliations
• Team player, "builder" spirit with ability to thrive in a fast-growing international environment
• Very good analytical skills and long-term view.
