Indie Camper's Marketplace team

The Marketplace team leverages the Indie Campers brand, industry expertise and operational capabilities to build the largest roadtrip marketplace globally. We employ data, insights and technology to connect our travellers with the 50+ millions of RV owners on the planet. We are on a mission to provide Owners a trusted environment to share their beloved RVs and realize their financial goals while creating endless opportunities for travellers to go on amazing roadtrips around the world.

Our Lisbon office is located in the city center, known for its beautiful landscape, history and vibrant cultural scene. It is a place where our Product and Technology, Operations and Revenue teams meet informally, co-create together, have fun during lunch and enjoy our lovely barbecues at our terrace.


The Role

As Key Account Manager, you will report to the Head of Commercial and be ultimately responsible to grow revenue of our tier 1 accounts on the Marketplace. You will build and nurture a portfolio of Professional Hosts and collaborate with other departments to provide your hosts a world class experience.


What you'll do:

  • Strategy : In partnership with the Head of Commercial, define a dedicated approach for tier 1 professional accounts (>10 RVs listed) ;
  • Lead Generation : Build a pipeline of leads (RV Owners) leveraging all channels at your disposal (paid and organic marketing, outbound email campaigns, events, social media etc);
  • Sales Development : Support your leads throughout the signup process and help them list their vehicle on the platform;
  • Account Management : Provide day to day support to your accounts and help them maximize their bookings by advising them on their pricing strategy, improve the quality of their ads and their operational performance;
  • Revenue : Coordinate with demand generation teams (Marketing, Onsite, Customer Excellence) to increase sales of your accounts;
  • Experience : Generate insights from your accounts and produce recommendations for process and product improvements across the board;
  • Tooling : Understand the tools requirements of our tier 1 hosts and project manage the development of those tools (listing, portfolio management, payment processing, support)

Who you are:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A desire to improve your negotiating and selling skills
  • Previous experience in a sales / customer facing role will be a plus
  • Fluent in English (mandatory) and at least one other European language.
  • BA/BS/MS in Business/Sales/Marketing preferred but not a must
  • Ability to muti-task efficiently
  • Willingness to work in a highly dynamic and international environment.
