Job Description


Your contribution to something big:

  • Specification of technical concepts and requirements for storage electric water heaters
  • Extreme collaboration with OEM partners
  • Specification, calculation, review and testing of components and systems, including:
    • Creation, review and understanding of technical specification for components
    • Analysis of customer, product, and safety requirements to validate technical concepts
    • Creation of test plans and its execution
    • Issue of product?s technical documentation
  • Coordination of market introduction activities, including:
    • Project coordination
    • Approval of ?product release? milestones
    • Contact with all involved parties
  • Quality awareness and optimization of existing product range
  • Cost reduction of existing appliance platforms

Qualifications


What distinguishes you:

  • Master's degree in Science - Mechanical Engineering (or similar)
  • Knowledge in:
    • fluid mechanics and thermodynamics
    • materials science
    • electrical systems
    • specification, calculation, design and testing of mechanical components and systems
  • Computer skills:
    • Proficient with Microsoft office tools (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Project)
    • Proficient with MATLAB
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Able to take responsibility for own work and apply own initiative to find solutions
  • Results oriented and pro-active attitude
  • Problem solving mindset
  • Ability to work in a team environment
  • Previous experience developing water heating systems is a benefit
