With our recent launch in Lisbon, the need has arisen to bring on board a Controlling Manager, Portuguese Market (Lisbon) to join our expanding team of Finance superstars!

Responsibilities

• Manage the accumulation and consolidation of all financial data necessary for an accurate accounting of business results
• Coordinate and prepare the internal and external financial statements
• Coordinate activities of external auditors
• Providing management with information vital to the decision-making process
• Assess current accounting operations, offer recommendations for improvement, and implement new processes
• Develop and monitor business performance metrics
• Actively manage and develop a highly skilled and motivated team
• Locations: Madrid/Barcelona/Lisbon

Requirements

• 4+ years of experience in Controlling roles, with experience in Big4 audit firms.
• Must be a Portuguese speaker and familiar with Portuguese controlling.
• Job role can be done from Madrid or Barcelona, but Lisbon is the preference.
• Familiarity with Spanish Control a big plus.
• Successful track record in financial analysis and reporting, ideally in complex organizations similar to Geitr.
• Ambitious, hands-on, analytical, strong communicator, and comfortable with ambiguity.
• Proven ability to operate and succeed within a fast-paced environment.
