Your new role
As Account Payable and payments team lead you will lead a team of accounts payable clerks and cash management analysts and manage day-to-day activities with the team.
Reporting to the SSC Manager, the main responsibilities for this role include ensuring correct AP data is uploaded to our ERP system, vendors are paid in time and T&E claims are approved and paid in time. Our ideal candidate is familiar with all accounting procedures and can manage daily financial transactions end-to-end.
Ultimately, you should be able to ensure accuracy and efficiency throughout our entire Accounts Payable process.
What you need to be successful

  • Setting objectives for the Accounts payable and cash management team.
  • Monitoring processing of invoices, payments, treasury back office activities and T&E claims.
  • Respond to internal customers clients on any process related queries and manage 1st level escalations.
  • Perform quality checks on the AP ledger and ensure liabilities in ERP are in line with our accounting rules.
  • Monitoring and managing workflow or daily targets to assure timely delivery of agreed SLA?s.
  • Tracking and maintaining metrics for a variety of data includes attendance, productivity, etc.
  • Develop processes to improve productivity and quality of the team.
  • Participate in the new pilots projects & work towards proper transition of knowledge to team.
  • Work with managers to resolve any personnel problems or conflicts that may arise in the team.
  • In addition to administrative responsibilities, the Team leader may be expected to perform follow-up work as well depending upon the requirement.
  • KPI Reporting.

The ideal candidate has a:
  • Graduate/Post-graduate degree;
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior A/R role;
  • Understanding of bookings-to-cash cycle;
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills;
  • Able to juggle multiple responsibilities at one time;
  • Excellent verbal and written English language communication skills;
  • Extremely high level of attention to detail;
  • Punctual and time-sensitive;
  • Target oriented and AR resolution mind set;
  • Team player;
  • Strong analytical background;
  • Strong knowledge of Software;
  • Keen eye for process and quality improvement;
  • Skilled in MS Word and Excel.
