We are looking for a Finance Manager Portugal & Cape Verde to join our team in Faro, Portugal.

The role will report directly to CEO and will be responsible for managing the entire Finance Department team: Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Treasury.

Main responsibilities:

• To ensure the accounting month closing, in compliance with the Group procedures and Portuguese tax obligations
• Preparation of control and management forms, tax planning management and audits
• Monthly and annual management treasury and overheads budget of expenses and investments
• Treatment of all processes arising from the company's administrative and financial procedures.
• Assist in the preparation of ad hoc financial analysis for senior management.
• Manage the entire Finance Department Team, a total of 15 employees based in Faro. Take decisions on employee recruitment, employee evaluation, employee development and resource allocation.
• Translate the meaning of financial information on current business performance to provide strategic advice.
• Add value to the business by proactively doing Business Profitability Review and sharing best practices.
• Perform other duties as assigned by CEO.

• Bachelor?s degree or master?s degree in management, Economics or Accounting
• Solid knowledge of Accounting (SNS) and Portuguese Tax System
• Minimum 2 or 3 years of experience in a similar role (desirable/not mandatory)
• Experience in managing teams
• Advanced excel skills
• Analytical skills
• Good communication skills, able to build solid working relationships and team working
• Spirit of initiative, dynamism, and responsibility
• Fluent in English
• Immediate availability (preferential)
