We are looking for a Finance Manager Portugal & Cape Verde to join our team in Faro, Portugal.
The role will report directly to CEO and will be responsible for managing the entire Finance Department team: Accounting, Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and Treasury.
Main responsibilities:

To ensure the accounting month closing, in compliance with the Group procedures and Portuguese tax obligations
- Preparation of control and management forms, tax planning management and audits
- Monthly and annual management treasury and overheads budget of expenses and investments
- Treatment of all processes arising from the company's administrative and financial procedures.
- Assist in the preparation of ad hoc financial analysis for senior management.
- Manage the entire Finance Department Team, a total of 15 employees based in Faro. Take decisions on employee recruitment, employee evaluation, employee development and resource allocation.
- Translate the meaning of financial information on current business performance to provide strategic advice.
- Add value to the business by proactively doing Business Profitability Review and sharing best practices.
- Perform other duties as assigned by CEO.
- Bachelor?s degree or master?s degree in management, Economics or Accounting
- Solid knowledge of Accounting (SNS) and Portuguese Tax System
- Minimum 2 or 3 years of experience in a similar role (desirable/not mandatory)
- Experience in managing teams
- Advanced excel skills
- Analytical skills
- Good communication skills, able to build solid working relationships and team working

- Fluent in English
