Position Summary:

Seeking for new challenges and wanting to work with us along customers who make a difference in making our world healthier, cleaner and safer? Join us as a Production Program Specialist.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Production Solutions Europe, Production Program Specialists handle the relationship with assigned Production accounts across Europe. In collaboration with Fisher Scientific Sales Teams they identify products that are essential to customers' activity and secure them from a traceability, a quality and a supply perspective. They work independently with Suppliers, Quality and Production Program Liaison teams to share customers? requirements. They ensure commitments are met for Production customers. They build the relation with the Production customers to promote Thermo Fisher Scientific reputation!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Promote Fisher Scientific Production Solutions internally and work with the Sales Team to find opportunities. Promote Fisher Scientific Production Solutions with customers by introducing our capability. Ensure understanding of our value offering proposition to drive revenue incremental and grow profitability in Europe!
  • Ensure all customers? specific Production requirements are understood, accurately collected & coordinated, and alternative solutions offered when required.
  • According to Global Production guideline and strategy, validate and develop internally with Production Solutions team, especially Program Liaison team back-office functions, Supply Chain solution to fulfill Production customers' specific requirement and provide first class service to customers.
  • Ensure execution of all the activities around the implementation of agreed requirements and support responsible functions to meet Customer specific Production requirements
  • Support documentation requirements with appropriate functional areas or with the Program Liaison Team
  • Single point of contact for communication and relay of information to support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of Production Customers
  • As appropriate, support and handle on-boarding of suppliers in the program, quality agreement set up, questions around suppliers? change notifications, documentation collection, etc.
  • Own the accuracy of Production databases and the management of internal SLAs and report outs to partners on overall program progress for assigned Production accounts.
  • Responsible for triaging and managing issues with the appropriate functional areas or with the Program Liaison team, share challenges as required with managers and present program modification with identified potential solutions.
  • Effectively perform your duties whilst acting at all times in accordance with the Dignity at Work Policy, Code of Business Conduct and Ethics and our values of Integrity, Intensity, Innovation and Involvement.
  • Use continuous improvement methodology and related analytical tools to drive people process & technology improvements
  • Any other duties which are commensurate with the post and role objectives & as requested by leadership team
  • Limited travel required <10%

Minimum Requirements/Qualifications:

  • 3+ years relevant business experience: operations, customer implementation, supply chain, sales, marketing, product management, quality, customer service
  • Knowledgeable in continuous improvement methodology and related analytical tools, e.g. Six Sigma, Lean, run charts, flow charting, Pareto charts, pivot tables etc.
  • Must have a Bachelor?s Degree in Business, Supply Chain, or a related field, or equivalent combination of experience and education.
  • Must possess excellent problem solving skills to take the appropriate course of action and provide a solution to the customers.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills to express his or her ideas, and communicate well with employees and sales team.
  • High level of organizational and time management skills, ability to multi-task
  • Proficiency in: MS Office (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint), SharePoint, Fisher Scientific Mainframe
  • Excellent French & English prerequisite - German language skills preferred but not a prerequisite
  • Optional : knowledge of Industry/global quality system standards and regulations; ISO 13485, FDA current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP, cGxP)
