Successful candidates hold EU-accredited:

  • Doctor of Medicine (MD)
  • Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS)
  • Doctor of Pharmacy (Pharm D.)

diplomas with a specialization in biology and are willing to relocate to France. Ideally, you will have at least B2 level of French, or are willing to study up to it from your current level. As a Medical Biology Site Director with Eurofins France, you will begin your development towards an international lab management career within the Eurofins Group.

Job Description


Missions

You will be in charge of a pre-post analytical laboratory and will also work on a technical platform. As a medical doctor, you will participate in the sampling of human blood and carry out the biological validation of files for multiple sites, while being an active player in laboratory quality system continuous improvement initiatives. Alongside human blood sampling and analysis, you will also fulfil the roles of Site and Team manager.

As a Site Manager, you will ensure the smooth running of the site and the development of its patient base, while consulting and ensuring the satisfaction of our patients and prescribers.

As a Team Manager, you will be committed to the development of your employees' skills and will ensure a work environment promoting the development of each individual.

In order to accomplish all the developmental and managerial tasks entrusted to you, you can rely on both management/support functions, and the support services of the Eurofins Clinical Diagnostics Group in France.

Compensation

We offer attractive salaries from the beginning of your career and will support your progression within the Eurofins Group. You will also be able to adjust your salary depending on any additional missions or responsibilities you wish to undertake for the Group.

Work schedule

Your working hours and days will depend on your expectations and our needs, measured in number of days worked. Normally you will receive 7 weeks of holidays per year.

Status

We prefer that you work under a liberal status as a partner and take part in the decision-making process at all General Meetings. We will provide you with documentation and internal services to support this French liberal status. We will also facilitate your training on French regulations and procedures. You will receive support from us in getting recognition for your Doctor of Medicine qualifications by the Ordre des Médecins upon your relocation.

Mentorship and support

We will support your French language training and help you develop your French to the legally required level (B2) to fulfil the role of clinical biology site director.

From the beginning, we will elect a colleague to act as a "tutor" to accompany you and facilitate your integration in the enterprise. You will also benefit from any training modules necessary for an efficient start (both practical and theoretical).

If you take responsibility for a site, you will take part in the "Manager's Course". This 10-day course covers management, finance, regulatory/legal, continuous improvement, quality, and IT topics. By sharing experiences with support teams and colleagues, you will further develop your transversal skills.

Relocation

You will also benefit from a two-day site visit with your spouse, if necessary, and receive support to help you settle in. Depending on the situation, we can also take care of your moving expenses and accommodation for up to 6 months. This will be decided on an ad-hoc basis.


Qualifications
