Nordea Asset Management (NAM) is the asset management arm of the Nordea Group, the leading financial services group in the Nordic and Baltic Sea regions. They are currently looking for a Credit Analyst to join their hub in Lisbon.
Your new function
You?ll join our Middle Office Risk Analysis team, where we risk assess over 200 financial entities with proprietary rating models, monitor financial news and regulations, spot credit trends and early credit risk warnings, write credit risk analysis and provide recommendations to Investments regarding the credit risk of our trading counterparties. As such, you'll be expected to understand internal credit risk models and credit risk assessment processes, make credit risk assessments, and write "in-depth" credit risk analysis and recommendations. Also, you'll monitor daily financial news, spot credit risk and initiate actions, as well as plan and coordinate timely risk assessments.
What you'll need to succeed
As a Credit Analyst, you should have a Finance or Economics background and, at least, 1 year experience in similar roles. Also, solid knowledge and understanding of credit risk and regulations for Financial Institutions is an advantage. We value a team-player with strong interpersonal skills and able to work autonomously in an ever-growing environment. Good English skills are mandatory.
