Electronic Client Solutions (ECS) is a global team within the COO group, with teams based in London, Lisbon, New York and Singapore, ECS represents the backbone of BNP Paribas?s Electronic trading offering.Its core function is to provide a single point of contact for Client queries for all our Electronic products and services. ECS supports Clients, Trading venues and external counterparties, is responsible for Client enablement, Client Support and vendor relationships across all our Ecommerce platforms.

ECS supports BNP PARIBAS clients on Single dealer and Multi dealer platforms in conjunction with Sales and Trading. Its responsibilities fall into three main business/product lines organised respectively into three sub-teams: FX Cash / Options / Algos / Commodities, Fixed Income? Rates / Credit / Structured Products / Derivatives and Structured Products/ Derivatives.

Your Main Activities Are

  • Client Enablement: responsible for managing and implementing all Client/User Enablement requests to BNP Paribas electronic trading platforms including our Single dealer Platform Smart Derivatives and BRIO and for the relationship with other departments - Sales, Trading and IT Support Teams to manage the configuration of Pricing and Client margin across various platforms
  • Business Support, such as investigate and resolve issues across all BNP Paribas electronic products and services, ensuring a quick and effective resolution, ensure clients are connected, having the ability to price and to trade at all times, use data-mining analysis tools to identify issues, provide business support & training to several teams and ensure the proper usage of the platform and assist users in finding alternatives to automate their pricing needs
  • Communication: propose and create new marketing materials to promote the platform and new features, ensure the information available in the platform regarding existing/new features are up to date, client engagement activities such as monitoring new client activity, monitor dormant clients and users and conduct reactivation campaigns and train & present to internal users the new features made available
  • Platform Development: propose and help define the priorities in terms of IT developments related to Smart Derivatives, identify business needs and areas of improvement/efficiency gains and assist in the development/ enhancement of tools used by the team to ensure regulatory and internal procedures are met

Profile and Skills to Success

  • Academic background in Engineering, Mathematics, Finance, Economics or similar areas (preferential)
  • An overall understanding and interest in the financial world
  • Fluency in English (mandatory)
  • Excellent communication skills and client focus
  • Strong team work while being able to work autonomously
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and organisational skills
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Python and other IT coding Skills ? (Intermediate) ? (Desirable)
